Underwater Treasureby ~Kimmokaunela

Digital Art / 3-Dimensional Art / Scenes / Waterscapes

I always wanted to find treasures from the bottom of the oceans when I was a young boy. Some gold coins and diamonds at least. Unfortunately I never found. With the help of my computer I could create a scenario from my dreams and live that moment in virtual world now when I´m a grown up.

So, take a deep breath and dive in the deepest ocean of your dreams and find these mysterious chests. Those could be treasures from the time of Atlantis or the pirates like Black Beard. Remember tho that don´t dive too deep or otherwise you will be in trouble.

Modeling in Cinema 4d.

Nicely done!
Very well lit and nicely composited. Excellent color theme. How did you get this awesome ocean feel? I tried to do the same motif but it turned out horribly wrong.
If you have the time, would you mind doing a quick tutorial (not the modeling part but light, scene and render setup and post-processing)?

Thanks! I used 3 lights in Cinema 4D and I used very cold colors like blue to color the scene. I used one spotlight to light the treasure area. I used AO and GI with the default Cinema 4D renderer in R12 versio. I can´t remember exactly what the setups were there. A lot of color correction was made in After Effects. I also made some particles with Photoshop to give some details. I have the c4d file at work where I can see what were the setups but I´m at holiday right now so I can´t get that, sorry.
